These are important questions that children love to hear us ask.  Children gain a strong level of competence and initiative when the adults in their life support them by letting them make choices.  Rather than entertain children, or move them from one activity to another, on the adult’s schedule, staff at a Quiet Forest Preschool encourage children to become more responsible for their own activities.  Teachers prepare daily activities based on the children’s interest.  However, children and their developmental level are the key to what happens daily.
