- What ages do you accept at A Quiet Forest Preschool?
We offer programs for children ages 0-Kindergarten:- Infants (Tiny Saplings): 0-2 years
- Toddlers (Budding Explorers): 2-3 years
- Preschoolers (Growing Oaks): 3-5 years
- What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. - How can I schedule a tour?

Yes! We provide nutritious, home-cooked breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. Our meals follow USDA guidelines and include seasonal fruits, vegetables, and fresh-baked bread.
Enrollment Questions
- How do I enroll my child?
The enrollment process is simple:- Contact us to schedule a tour.
- Pay the $200 non-refundable registration fee to secure your child’s spot.
- Complete the enrollment paperwork, which can be returned via email or on the first day of school.
- When are tuition payments due?
Tuition is due on the first of each month. - Do you offer sibling discounts?
No, we are currently not offering sibling discounts.
Daily Life at the Preschool
- What does a typical day look like?
Our days follow a predictable yet flexible rhythm of learning, play, and rest. A full outline can be found on our Daily Schedule page. - How much time do children spend outside?
Children spend significant time outdoors each day, enjoying over 10,000 sq ft of play space filled with swings, slides, forts, and gardens. Weather-appropriate gear ensures we embrace nature rain or shine! - What should my child bring each day?
We provide cubbies so you don’t have to pack things in and out. Here is what we suggest bringing on your first day:
- Diapers and breastmilk/formula (if needed)
- A change of clothes
- Weather-appropriate gear and sturdy shoes
- A small blanket for rest time
Health and Safety
- What are your health and safety policies?
We follow all state licensing guidelines to ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Our staff are trained in CPR/First aid, blood borne pathogens, and food handling procedures. We maintain clear protocols for cleanliness, hygiene, and emergency preparedness. - What if my child gets sick?
If your child becomes ill while at preschool, we’ll contact you immediately for pick-up. For the health of all children, we ask that sick children remain home until symptom-free for 24 hours. Mandatory stay home illnesses include, but are not limited to:- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Fever over 100
- Any rash that is not diaper or ezcema

Yes! In our Toddler Program, we follow your family’s guidance and routines to support your child’s potty training journey when they show signs of readiness. - How do you communicate with families?
We prioritize open communication through:

- Scheduled parent check-ins, as needed
